What to pay attention to when cutting machining materials in Dalian
When cutting Dalian machining materials, flame cutting is the basic cutting method. In order to achieve better cutting effect, there are many aspects that need attention in the setting of cutting process. The use of different gas and cutting nozzles will also be different, which makes it difficult for many users and enterprises just in touch with cutting operations. Generally speaking, it takes about 3 months to train a mature flame cutting operator to operate and run in, especially for manual cutting methods such as hand-held cutting. However, from the perspective of CNC cutting equipment, the above time is much shorter. On the one hand, it is due to the fully automatic working mode of CNC equipment, and on the other hand, it is due to the increasingly improved CNC cutting technology.
Thick steel plates with thickness greater than 50mm are generally cut by flame, also called oxygen cutting. The process is as follows:
1. Install the cutting nozzle with proper hole diameter according to the thickness of the cutting steel plate;
2. Adjust the pressure of oxygen and fuel gas to the specified value;
3. Use the cutting igniter to ignite the preheating flame, then slowly open the preheating oxygen valve, adjust the length of the white core of the flame, make the flame into a neutral flame, and preheat the starting point;
4. At the starting point of cutting, only preheat flame is used for heating, the cutting nozzle is perpendicular to the steel plate surface, and the tip of the white center of the flame is 1.5~2.5mm from the steel plate surface;
5. When the starting point reaches the combustion temperature (bright red), open the cutting oxygen valve and cut instantly;
6. After confirming that the steel plate has been cut to the lower surface, move the cutting nozzle along the cutting line at an appropriate speed to continue cutting forward;
7. At the end of cutting, close the cutting oxygen valve first, and then close the oxygen valve of the preheating flame.
Tips for flame adjustment of flame numerical control cutting machine:
1. Adjust the cutting parameters according to the plate thickness, and avoid processing different types of materials with one set of cutting parameters.
Cutting parameters include cutting nozzle model, oxygen pressure, cutting speed, preheating flame energy, etc. The selection of process parameters is mainly based on the type of gas cutting machine and the thickness of the steel plate that can be cut. For the uncut steel plate, try to cut the same type of steel plate, determine the cutting parameters, and check the gas permeability of the cutting nozzle.
2. Pay attention to small details and problems, and never exaggerate the function and effect of the equipment.
Even if you use a numerical control cutting machine, you should also understand the limitations of the use of the equipment. For some details, such as removing dirt, grease, etc. from the steel surface, you need to do a good job before cutting. In addition, if space is left to facilitate slag blowing out, the moving speed of the cutting torch should be kept at a constant speed of 2~5mm, and the cutting torch should not be too close or too far from the steel plate surface, so as to prevent small problems such as melting at the edge of the incision or insufficient heat, the novice should also pay attention to.
3. When cutting thick plates, the preheating flame shall be large, and the length of gas cutting airflow shall exceed 1/3 of the workpiece thickness. The cutting nozzle and the workpiece surface are inclined at an angle of about 10 °~20 °, so that the edges of the parts are evenly heated.
4. Problems needing attention in gas cutting deformation.
When cutting workpieces of different sizes on steel plates, small pieces shall be cut first, and then large pieces; For the cutting of narrow and long strip plates, 50mm shall be left at both ends of the length, and the long side shall be cut after cutting, or the symmetrical cutting method of multiple cutting torches shall be adopted. When cutting straight strips, it shall be noted that the flame strength of each cutting nozzle shall be consistent, otherwise side bending may occur.
