Q235A

The commonly used carbon structural steel is also called A3 steel. It has high plasticity, toughness, welding performance, cold stamping performance, certain strength and good cold bending performance. "Q" is the first letter of the pinyin of "Qu", representing the meaning of yield limit. "235" represents the yield value of the steel, about 235MPa. The following letter represents the quality grade. The quality grade is divided into four grades: A, B, C and D. The quality grade of Q235A steel is A.

Widely used for parts and welded structures with general requirements. Such as pull rod, connecting rod, pin, shaft, screw, nut, ferrule, support, base, building structure, bridge, etc.

45 # steel

Medium carbon quenched and tempered steel is commonly used as a type of No. steel. The number "45" represents that the average carbon content of the steel is 0.45%. It has good comprehensive mechanical properties, low hardenability and is easy to crack during water quenching. Small parts should be quenched and tempered, and large parts should be normalized.

It is mainly used to manufacture high strength moving parts, such as turbine impeller and compressor piston. Shaft, gear, rack, worm, etc. The welding parts shall be preheated before welding and stress relieved and annealed after welding.

HT150 gray cast iron, the letter "HT" is the pinyin initials of "gray iron", and the tensile strength is 150MPa. The medium strength cast iron has good casting process performance, and is commonly used in boxes, machine tool beds and other parts.

Gear box, machine bed, box, hydraulic cylinder, pump housing, valve body, flywheel, cylinder head, pulley, bearing cover, etc.

Cr12

Common cold work die steel, Cr12 steel is a widely used cold work die steel, which belongs to the type of ledeburite steel with high carbon and high chromium. The steel has good hardenability and wear resistance; As the carbon content of Cr12 steel is as high as 2.3%, the impact toughness is poor, it is easy to embrittle, and it is easy to form uneven eutectic carbide;

Because of its good wear resistance, Cr12 steel is mostly used to manufacture cold punching dies, punches, blanking dies, cold heading dies, punch and die of cold extrusion dies, drill sleeves, gauges, wire drawing dies, stamping dies, thread rolling plates, drawing dies, and cold pressing dies for powder metallurgy, which are subject to low impact loads and require high wear resistance.

T10、T12

T10 is a common carbon tool steel with an average carbon content of 1.0%, moderate toughness and low production cost. After heat treatment, the hardness can reach more than 60HRC. However, this steel has low hardenability and poor heat resistance (250 ℃). It is not easy to overheat during quenching and heating, and still maintains fine grains. The toughness is fair, the strength and wear resistance are higher than T7-T9, but the thermal hardness is low, the hardenability is still not high, and the quenching deformation is large.

T12 is also a kind of carbon tool steel, with an average carbon content of 1.2%. After quenching, there are many excess carbides. According to wear resistance and hardness, T12 is suitable for making tools that are not subject to impact load, have low cutting speed, and have constant cutting edge heat, such as turning tools, milling cutters, and drills for lathes and planers; It can be used to make reamers, reamers, taps, dies, scrapers, gauges, tobacco cutters, files, and cold trimming dies and punching dies with small section sizes.
